Family Counselling Centre (FCC) is an established, community based not-for-profit organization providing a wide range of programs and supports in Lambton County. FCC has a permanent part time Human Resources Specialist position available. The HR Specialist reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for coordinating the HR function in accordance with the Centre’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, providing support to the Management Team in terms of HR administration, recruitment, on-boarding, training and development, benefit administration, maintenance of HRIS, completion of payroll enrollment and change forms, policy and procedure compliance, attendance, performance management and workplace health and safety. The incumbent is expected to monitor changes to HR legislation and provide management with recommendations. The salary range is $25.99 to $33.25 commensurate with experience.
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Human Resources or related focus
- CHRP designation (or working towards) would be an asset
- Three to five years HR generalist experience
- Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Good knowledge of Change Management
